Shannon, babysitting in Clifton SG17

I’m Shannon, I’m from Clifton in Bedfordshire, i’m 17 yrs old but will soon be turning 18 in August. I have recently finished College and I am now on my gap year so I am currently looking for either a part time or a full time job so I can save up a bit of money ready for University next year. I am fun, friendly, bubbly, approachable, polite, calming, well spoken, energetic and confident. I would also describe myself as patient and I feel like I know how to deal with children that may be upset. I am mainly looking for baby sitting jobs however I would also be happy to take on some part time work such as helping mothers in their home. I am keen to expand my experience in childcare as I have learned through a little bit of childcare work I have done in the past, that I really enjoy it and would like to get to a professional level. I have 6 siblings who are all younger than me so I look after them very often. I also have a lot of younger cousins that I baby sit time to time and I have looked after some family friends’ children. I have looked after children from the age of 6 months to 15 yrs old. I did a bit of work experience in a gallery in Bedford that was very child friendly and had a lot of activities for kids to do so I worked with children there doing things such as puzzles, lookig through books, role play etc. I also studied Child Development in my GCSE’s. I currently clean at a local pub so I would be more than happy to do any chores around the house. Art is what I am passionate about and what I have been studying so I like to do arts & crafts with children. Some other activities I like to do with children are playing outside in the garden or in parks, going on walks, playing with toys such as puzzles, helping them with homework, bathing them, getting them ready for bed, cooking them dinner, reading to them, collecting them from school and taking them to school and making them their bottles etc.
