Shalika, babysitting in Croydon

Hello, my name is Shalika Reid, and I am looking for a role as a nanny/child-minder as working with children is something I have a passion for and I am always wanting to work with different families and meeting new children. In September I will be going back to University to Study Nursing, however I will be available for after school runs and evening jobs. I can look after children from newborn-12 years old.
I am 19 years of age, you may think this is too young, however I have worked with children such as previous jobs in nurseries and schools and I used to childmind a family of 4 where the ages varies from 6 months to 9 years old.
I know how to apply the essential things such as changing nappies, feeding, ensuring your child/children are safe and genuinely content.
I believe that in order to portray this role, you have to be fun, active however firm as well, all of which I can uphold. When I interact with children I want to ensure that we have the best possible relationship where we can play games and have lots of fun, from previous experience I had found out that the age I am now is an advantage as children feel like they can relate to me and feel more comfortable, as well as having fun I am also there to enhance your child's independency and education, I am capable of helping with any homework where we will sit down and work together as a team.
Not only do I look after the children in the best way I can but I am always happy to cook and clean to ensure that your children are provided with the best quality of care!
