Andrew, babysitting - CV21 Rugby

Im a year 2nd year Health And Social Care Degree Student, with a Btec National Extended Diploma, I have both an emergency at work first aid certificate, HCA life support training and four years experience with St John ambulance working with both the badges (children between the ages of five to ten) and the cadets (ten to seventeen). An Enhanced DBS (this replaces the old CRB’s and Disclosure and Barring checks).
Have never seemed to have a problem building a relationship with the children have met be they through St John ambulance, children of friends and family or church, I've always found that the best way to handle children is to treat them the same level of respect and fairness you would treat any adult, but not forgetting a level of firmness e.g. if you say something for instance a rule you stick to it as once they have seen that they can push that boundary they will push all the boundaries. I am adequate cook and cleaner, and have to admit to enjoying kids games, board games and computer games as much as the kids
