My name is Lauryn and I am currently in college 3 days a week until May studying a level 3 extended diploma in child care. Last year I achieved a level 3 diploma in child care. I am doing this in order to go to university in September to become a primary school teacher. Within my course I have carried out 800 hours of volunteering work within primary schools where I have took the role of a teaching assistant, I have worked with a variety of age groups within primary school age and I have enjoyed working within this role very much. My course have also allowed me to achieve paediatric first aid. After achieving all of this and gaining a lot of experience within the role of child care I am now hoping to get a part time job in babysitting to further my knowledge and experience in order to help with my career. Until May I will be in college Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays so I will be free any of the other days to babysit, after May I will also be free to babysit every day of the week until I go to university in September.
