My name is Emma, I’m a 24 year old university student currently in my final year. I study child nursing and qualify as a fully registered children’s nurse in September. Previous to starting university, I completed a college course and have an NC and Higher in early education and childcare. I also have basic life support and first aid training.
I worked in a nursery for 2 years which involved care planning and caring for children with additional support needs. I also spent a year volunteering in my local primary school.
My university course has given me opportunities to be placed in different healthcare settings around greater Glasgow and Clyde including intensive care, a&e and community child nursing. I have experience caring for children with a wide range of health and social needs and am comfortable providing care to children of any age.
Due to university commitments I am currently only free at weekends but my availability changes regularly.
