Hello, I'm Donna, I am 31 years old and live in Finchampstead with my partner and son. I have been working as a nanny since 2014 and am looking for a morning breakfast termtime position. This could either be an immediate start or for the new school year. Previously I have been an early morning breakfast nanny and doing school/nursery drop offs, light clearing of breakfast items, uniform prep and errands. It would be lovely if I could bring my little boy with me; a built in play mate for your child/ren.

Also for ad hoc/occasional babysitting roles. If you need an evening, event or weekend sitter please do not hesitate to get in contact.

I am mummy to a 3.6 year old boy.

I am currently a weekday and holiday nanny and have been with my current family since July 2014. I am ideally looking to fit in a morning, weekend / evening babysitting role around these ones.

I currently do not have an Ofsted registration, but would more than willing to do this.

I have a range of experience in nursery settings, have previously been a nursery room senior and have 5 years’ experience mentoring students that are training to achieve their level 3 CACHE diplomas in childcare and education.

I believe I am a passionate person who cares about children's individual development and I thrive on helping children achieve their full potential through child led play, messy play activities and quality interaction and communication.

I aim to To provide for the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of the children in my care and provide them with a stimulating caring and safe environment.

I am looking to become part of a loving family and to help your circumstances to the best of my ability. I believe I have qualities in this area where I can use my knowledge and skills to benefit your family.

As a confident and outgoing individual I consider myself to be hardworking, honest, punctual, fun, determined and trustworthy. I enjoy hands on activities with children, including trips out to groups/soft play/rhyme times, garden play, art/music play and stories.

References can be provided.

I am a keen runner and enjoy reading and socialising.

Since July 2014 I have been a nanny for two families, providing wrap around care and holiday care

Prior to this I have worked as a room senior in a nursery for 6 years, and I graduated from the university of west England, Bristol in 2008 with a 2:1 in Early Childhood Studies.

I have been a first choice children's representative in Greece and have worked in primary schools as a teaching assistant.

During this 6 years I have experience on trips outside the nursery (taking groups of walkers and children in buggies to visit the duck pond, trips to the park and picnics) all using safe and appropriate means. I have knowledge and experience of appropriate behavior management and how to encourage positive self-esteem. I have Lots of Experience when toilet training children, I am able to change nappies and use cloth nappies. I have supported and encouraged children, who are fussy eaters, have implemented sleep and play routines for children and have been able to develop communication & language with young children, especially using materials given by outside agencies.

I enjoy using games and play to enhance physical and gross/fine motor skills with children. I also have experience with children who are on the Autistic spectrum and have knowledge on how they need to be supported appropriately by an adult.

The majority of my work has been with the Toddler age group (21-36 months) and above but having recently had my son; I am now familiar with new born sleep routines, making and storing bottles, feeding routines and now have some experience weaning.

I have:
Peadatric first aid
Food hygiene certificates
Own car and clean licence
Nanny insurance
