I am a partially experienced 16 year old teen, looking for a future in midwifery or neo-natal care :) I am currently in my last few months of GCSE's and am looking for a job that can be flexible around school hours (even if it's tight!).
As I have touched on, I am partially experienced many members of my family are registered, OFSTED approved childminders with 20+ years experience throughout the family. I as a direct result of this have been greatly encouraged to work with children :) I essentially have been either shadowing or a little assistant (dress up partner :) ) for my family's work, which I very much enjoy! But I am looking to venture into childcare more head on and much more independently.
As your babysitter I would naturally do the following (due to my experience with professionals) unless told others :)
-Keep records throughout the day of: medicines taken and times; daily observations; meals served; rest hours etc
-Observing, monitoring and getting stuck in with childrens activities!
-Reading to children
-Teaching and supervising activities such as: painting; crafts etc
-Prepare meals
This is a short list as my babysitting services are abundant in skills and eagerness to learn more.
I hope this presentation has given you a bit of reassurance.
I also hope you are interested in me as a babysitter
I would be very happy to hear from you!
Jessica :)
Occasional babysitting | $6.50 per hour |
I do not wish for a giant income from this :) I am treating this as work experience and as my offers are from home or family experience that's the price I think I should stick with.
Happy to negotiate!!!
