Katie, babysitting in Haydock

Hi, my name is Katie and I am 16 years old. I am very friendly, caring and easy to get along with. I love to be around children, especially the ones who are very energetic. Personally I would describe myself as a big kid, as I love to play all types of children's games, I don't mind watching children's programs and I am a very big fan of Disney. On the other hand I would also describe myself as very responsible and reliant. In school I studied Health and Social care, which I achieved a distinction* in. It comes in very useful when looking after children as we completed a whole module focused on child development and caring for a child. I am now currently studying a higher level of Health and Social care (Level 3) in college. In the future I would love to purse a career involving children, whether that is working in a school or in a children's hospital. In the past I have previously looked after children for family member's and friends of the family, while they have attended special event. Also I have volunteered at Newton le willows children centre, which my mum previously worked at when I volunteered during previous summer holiday when they help special event. When volunteering I help to proper snacks for the children, I help out at different stalls and activities, as well as looking after children when the parents wanted to have a look around by them selves.
