My name is Lucy , I'm fifteen years of age and I will soon be sixteen. I have previously had multiple jobs in babysitting and lots of family experience. I have looked after my younger sister who is 10, my parents friend whom I did not know of at the time and she had a son who was 6. I have also looked after my cousin who was about 2, my younger brother who is 20 months and my neighbours children who were 5 and 8. I believe that my qualities as a childcarer/babysitter include my sense of family orientation, I adore children. I am very nurturing and caring and I would never complain towards them, however I would also be able to take care of them if they were misbehaving. I get along well with children as I am still a child at heart and I would love to do weekend babysitting for those who need it. I am still at school and I do still have work to do but I wouldn't mind babysitting on top of that as I could always do some extra pieces of revision while they were asleep. My experience with children has always been very pleasant and welcoming and I have always enjoyed it, I usually play traditional games such as hide and seek but if there was board games or a game that the children wanted me to join I would. Usually if I'm looking after them till late I would read them a story and put them to bed and I would go downstairs and tidy up any mess. I would not be able to babysit from anytime in the morning till around 4:30 however I wouldn't mind doing a small job after school but I would prefer to stick to weekends as it would be a lot easier.
Occasional babysitting | $6.50 per hour |
I believe that it would be a fair inexpensive price for excellent childcare and the parents or guardians and I benefit from it.
