My name is Shannon, I am nearly twenty one years old and I currently work in a preschool. The type of care I am looking for is babysitting, I am able to work with any age child/children but I am more experienced in working with children aged two to four. I am a trustworthy, hard working, reliable and honest person. I have worked in childcare for nearly five years, I studied Childcare and Education at college with a great passion to become a teacher later on in life. I am currently progressing towards fulfilling my ambition of becoming a teacher by starting my Foundation Degree in September. I have had great opportunities to develop my own knowledge by attending courses such as safeguard training, SEN training and yearly updates for first aid training. With working in a preschool I attend weekly planning meeting where I am encouraged to put my ideas forward for planning activities. I am always thinking of new ways that a game/activity can be changed whether that is to make the child/children more involved or to challenge them.
