I'm a caring, outgoing, friendly and very patient person who works well with children. I am confident in setting boundaries and love playing games to keep children entertained. I also enjoy cooking and would be happy to prepare meals or help with any chores that need doing. I also have a lot of experience with maths and literacy interventions and would gladly help your children with their homework or give extra tutoring where needed. I am a very active person with a lot of energy to keep the children busy.
I am educated to degree level with a Professional Graduate Certificate of Education specialising in SEN.
I have recently returned from travelling for 15 months around South America. I spent a month in Peru volunteering teaching English to children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
I have a lot of experience working in a secondary school with children with a range of additional needs. The majority of children I worked with were at primary school level in their academic abilities and mental age. I planned and ran an after school baking club too.
I have also volunteered in a primary school working with KS1 and at an after school play scheme with children of all ages.
I also have plenty of experience looking after my friends' children.
I'm happy to help with any part time baby sitting or child care activities.
