A'isha, babysitting in Middlesbrough

I'm a friendly, caring 19 year old girl and am currently studying towards A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, having previously achieved 14.5 GCSEs (with A grades in Maths and English Language).

I’m the eldest of 6 children (aged between 5 and 17) and have thoroughly enjoyed looking after them at home over the years; providing them with meals, helping with homework and playing games with them (from board games through to computer games).

Working with younger students as a member of my school's prefect and peer mentor team allowed me to maintain an encouraging liaison between teachers and students, and has enhanced my ability to communicate effectively.

As the Learning Support Mentor Leader, I managed and organised a group of sixth formers in teaching spelling and literacy to First to Third Year pupils. My responsibilities have included the delegation of rota dates as well as ensuring mentors were informed of their duties and punctual.

I have previously been a school council member and elected form representative for three consecutive years, in which I have assisted in the organisation of charity stalls and school events.

I’d be more than happy to help with homework as well as household chores and have very flexible working hours – I am able to work any day of the week at anytime.
