I am a young female (16 years of age) who has 6 sibling of my own, 5 of which are younger than me. At the moment, I am living my parents, elder sister and younger siblings. Their ages range from 2 (youngest brother) to 18 (eldest sister) years. My parents trust me in the house alone with any of my siblings and I often take my younger brothers to local parks etc. Sometimes I'll even pick my 8 year old and 10 year old brothers up from school and I have been doing so for around 5 years now. For many weeks I participated in a Teens and Toddlers course, in which I helped out at a nursery (in Palacefields, Runcorn), with children as young as 2 years. This was completely optional and I enjoyed it very much! I love children and I would love to look after any child! My patience goes beyond belief and I'm very understanding when it comes to young people. As of late, I have just graduated from NCS (the National Citizen Service), along this course I learned new skills, like cooking etc. and also managed to gain an approved First Aid qualification. Over the years I've gained a lot of firsthand parenting experiencing, being one of the eldest in a house of nine. Somedays I take if on myself to look after my siblings, often preparing the younger ones with simple meals. Recently I have received my GCSE results, in which I got an A* in maths. I also attained As in English Language, English Literature, Additional Science, Drama, History, Sport, Business Studies and ECDL. In addition, my lowest grade was a B, in French and ICT, demonstrating that I can help children if it is needed (in terms of education purposes, for example; homework). Teaching is something I enjoy, as I love helping my younger siblings when it comes to learning and I have also volunteered in my school, helping others in my year group. I get on very well with others, and can be described as polite and respectful. To me working with children wouldn't be a job at all, it would be something delightful that I would love to do and enjoy very much. In sixth form I will be studying Maths, Chemistry, Biology and French, at A Level Standard. In school I have worked with younger children, and for my Sport course, I actually led a netball session with 10-11 year olds and worked really closely with them. Additionally, I have participated in numerous sporting clubs, where I worked with various age groups. It's just something I love to do really, that's why I chose this role, amongst all the other offerings on the job list. I hope to here from you soon. Thank you.
Alisha Hunt.
Occasional babysitting | $8.00 per hour |
I don't get given very much money from anyone to be honest. With that reason I would love to earn £8 an hour! However, if there's a great offer and that's out of somebody's price range, then I'd love to reason. I am not a professional so I would no demand anymore, but if the offer is there, and the employer is honest, then I'd love to accept greater pay.
