Jenny, babysitting - LA5 Carnforth

My name is Jenny, I am 16 years old and currently studying Level 3 Children's Play, Learning and Development at Kendal College. I live in Carnforth and will hopefully soon be learning to drive to help with travel. I often look after my 2 year old niece therefore i have some experience in childcare at a home setting rather than a professional nursery setting.

I am looking for an opportunity to put my interests and skills in childcare to use while helping families with any childcare they require. I have good communication skills with both adults and children and a strong desire to support children's learning and play experiences. I have had experience working in a nursery with children aged 2-4 years where I was organizing activities for the children and supporting them while they initiated their own play activities. I was also following health and safety rules as well as helping the children to follow them.
