I am a respectful, confident and outgoing person who enjoys socialising. I am currently studying law at the University of Manchester. I am very self driven and ambitious and thrive mostly when faced with challenges as they cause me to give my best efforts. I am very adaptable, work well under pressure and also enjoy working as a team to achieve any targets set before me. Working for Lattitude Solicitors I developed excellent telephone etiquette, my duties included undertaking a range of administrative tasks as well as taking bookings writing statements down in meetings and all duties associated with operating a busy law firm reception desk. In my roles I was willing to go that extra mile to ensure that all clients receive an outstanding and professional service at all times.

Reuben Carer
Duration; Full time care, since he was born.
Reuben is my 12 years old, severely Autistic little brother. He was born at 25 weeks. He was so premature he had to spend 1 year in hospital due to complications. He suffered from brain damage due to lack of oxygen. Soon after Reuben had a Tracheostomy, He as born with a very narrow windpipe which was not allowing him to breath properly. A gastrostomy was also installed into his stomach soon after. This allows Reuben to be fed directly into his stomach. He has problems with his mouth and throat up to this very day its the only method we use to fed him. He struggles to understand or learn how to chew or swallow. Doctors say he will never speak since he has passed the age of 8 and still has not spoken a word. My mother and I have been his only carers all his life. Rueben has a mental age is as if he is 5, he is still in nappies and he has to be cared for like a toddler.
Duties;
* General Hygiene and daily cleanliness care which include washing all areas of his body throw out the day.
* Morning and night baths and making sure he is appropriately clothed. Must be warmed otherwise he can easily fall sick.
* Feeding him every 4 hours
* Cleaning his equipements including his feeding tubes and his Tracheostomy tube.
* Entertain and play with him ( although due to his autism he enjoys his own space most times, he comes to you when he wants attention)
* Taking him to many doctors appointments
* Taking him to on trip successfully and safely at his comfort. Including trips abroad, the park, school, friends houses etc.
* Comforting him being understanding towards his fits and twitches
* Being there for him when he is down and low. He loves to just hear you talk.
