Sophie, babysitting - NE41 Wylam

Hello! I'm Sophie and I'm 22 years old. I am currently on a gap year from studying before I return to start my postgraduate course at the University of Oxford in October. I study English Literature, which I have found comes in very handy when looking after children - I'm great at reading stories and making up my own!

I am flexible when it comes to the type of care I can provide; I have experience in nurseries, teaching weekly primary school classes, general babysitting and a three month stay as an au pair in Australia. During my time in Australia I cared for three wonderful little girls, aged 3, 5, and 7. I was responsible for taking them to and from school, getting them ready in the mornings, making healthy snacks, helping with homework and coming up with fun (and educational) games to keep them occupied while their parents at work. We often did a lot of arts and crafts, puppet shows, trips to the park and beach, baking and sometimes I even taught them some child friendly yoga!

I feel I am a very bubbly, empathetic person who loves to make people smile. If something is worth doing, it's worth giving 110%
