I am currently a Plymouth University student studying business, but don't have many hours of lectures a week so can be pretty available with childcare hours in the day and evenings and babysitting or childcare for emergencies.
I have had a fair amount of experience with working with children of all ages. I have a 15 year old brother and a 5 year old brother at home. I spend a lot of time looking after my younger brother, including making him breakfast, lunch or dinner and keeping him entertained throughout the day. Also, my other brother is currently going through his GCSE's and I have been giving him some support through his studies.
I used to volunteer at my local rainbows and brownie groups for three years. I enjoyed the commitment and responsibility involved in these leadership roles, as well as spending time with the various ages of children (4-11). In my year 11 study leave I volunteered for a couple of days at the local pre-school and I used to help out at the local toddler group when I'd take my little brother along.
For three years, in the summer holidays, I used to help out one of my mums friends with her three children that were 2 month old twins and a 3 year old when I first met them.
I really enjoy spending time with children and feel that I am very confident with looking after all ages, and with looking after multiple children at a time.
