Amanda, babysitting in Retford

Hi, my name is Amanda and I am 23 and have had a lot of experience in looking after children of various ages and various needs. I have been looking after my 4 young cousins, for their whole lives- they are 10, 6, 4 and 3 and the 4 year old has Downs Syndrome.

I have just finished working as a support worker for people with autism and challenging behaviour and have a DBS for it.
I have had work experience in a nursery and in an infant school, which I really enjoyed- helping with spellings and reading.

I have a very caring nature and have excellent communication skills.

I have a puppy, who I absolutely adore and love going on long walks with him. I really enjoy listening to music and also have a real passion for books. I love learning new things and feel that learning new things is really important and also very interesting and exciting. I also love cooking and trying out new recipes all the time and trying them out on my husband and hope for the best.
