Elene, babysitting - RH12 Horsham

Hi! My names Ellie, I'm 18 living in the West Sussex area, I have a full driving license and am currently studying at a local college. I have a younger sister who I have looked after alongside my mum, and regularly looked after my neighbours grandchildren who are between the ages of 1-7, I did activities with the children such as colouring, playing with toys and games and things such as writing and maths with the 5 year old little girl. I also assisted in bathing and getting ready for bed, including reading bedtime stories and giving the 1 year old his milk and settling for bed!
In secondary school I studied child care, meaning my knowledge about children is vast. I also took part with a babysitting course where I learnt how to effectively care for children, engaging activities, first aid and I looked after a virtual 1 year old for a week.
I am caring, trustworthy and compassionate, and very easy to get along with. I naturally engage with children and am fun to be with, however I am also observant and careful, with the ability to enforce rules when necessary (the 5 year old I looked after didn't get away with the late bedtime she was after!)
