Ruby, babysitting - RH2 Reigate

Hi, my name is Ruby and i have has 6 years experience babysitting with babies to 13 year olds.
For local families and my own family i have gained a lot of experience over the years.

I am currently studying at university in Nottingham, and will be coming home over the summer, hoping to find some work :)

Characteristics that are essential as a child carer are
that you enjoy being with children, your a positively motivated, must have a sense of humour, feel a connection with children, and be aware of what they need. Stay calm under pressure and have enough physical energy to keep up with them!

Knowing that I have contributed to a family’s life by being a resource to parents who are entrusting their babies and children to me is very personally fulfilling.

A good child carer wants to and should know the details of how the parents like things to be done and will also provide plenty of details on what the child/ren have done when the parents are out.

Childcaring is not as easy as people often think. It takes preparation, confidence, and skill. Having experience with children has allowed me to gain these. Parents will want people who know how to think on their feet when unplanned circumstances arise, stay coolheaded when a child is upset or injured, and negotiate arguments over toys and games.

And if you find the right match for your child, sometimes these bonds between caregiver and child last longtime.
