I am a 23 year old female who currently works as a learning support assistant for people with special needs and am returning to University in September to complete my primary school teacher training.
I would love to continue looking after children on evenings and weekends during my time at University. I have had a lot of experience of looking after children from the ages of 1 right up to being adults, both in the UK and overseas. I have looked after children in various settings, from schools to day centers to having fun with them whilst at home. I have worked in two primary schools as a teaching assistant which I absolutely loved! As well as this I have babysat for my two younger cousins who are now 2 and four on a regular basis. I also spent some time looking after children whilst in Canada, taking them too and fro school, making them dinner, helping with homework. Ages here raised from 1 to 7. I am passionate about teaching and would therefore love to help with homework and have a fun, lively personality.
I have a University degree and also additional qualifications. I am first aid trained and have plenty of experience working with people with learning disabilities. I also consider myself quite a creative person. I like to make things and play around with crafts. Other than this I am very used to making resources for children, whether it be to learn or play with. I often take children to their sports games or play with them at home, from dancing to gymnastics to football.
I consider myself to be versatile and fun and would love a chance to get to know you're family.
Feel free to contact me for any more information, thanks :)
