Kameica-paris, babysitting - SE5 Camberwell

My name is Kameica-Paris and I am a creative and driven person and express myself through interaction with others. My art is my passion, not through drawing but through body and soul. Whether it be music, song, drama or poetry, it is through these mediums that I communicate best. I am also a self-taught poet and not only write for my own pleasure but have had work published in both ‘Poetry Explorers’ 2009 and ‘Travel Back In Rhyme’ 2010 where I received certificates from the Young Writers Creativity Award for Talent for Writing. At present I am a college student that attends the BRIT School and I am current studying Community Arts Practice which at an end result I will have been successfully trained how to look after and entertain children, adults the elderly and my community. For work experience I went to Selhurst Children’s Centre for 1 week. Selhurst Children’s centre work with children from 2 - 4 years old during the weekdays from 8am-5.45pm and 11am-1 pm on Saturdays. We helped prepare snacks, lunch, set up morning and afternoon activities for the children to get involved in. We helped the children learn new things for example a new number or word. I would love to work with children in the future as it was such a great experience seeing the children getting excited and getting creative whilst trying new things.
