Personal Statement

I am motivated to work within a childcare setting because I have found that I enjoy working In early years settings. I am currently studying a level 3 childcare course and I am on my second year, I have completed my first year and i am enjoying my second. While studying the course I have enjoyed units such as safeguarding and personal, social and emotional development. I also enjoyed learning about the early years statutory framework (EYFS) because I enjoyed learning about different ways to help children develop. My skills consist of being a warm, caring and polite worker. I have a good level of communication and I am capable to work with children and their families in a professional and caring manner. I am a very creative person which would be a asset to any nursery and it’s activities but i also have a sense of responsibility. i am able to safeguard children along with other members of staff, I am also able to identify any risks or hazards which may bring any harm to anyone who enters the setting. I am also willing to work with other staff members to help the child to develop properly along with developing my own skills alongside this. I only have a few outside interests which is art and design, watching TV and playing different games along with charity work.
