Hi, I'm Erin and I feel that I have the potential to be your new baby sitter.
Although I am only 17, please do not let that put you off because I consider myself to have grown up working with children my whole life so I am very confident and responsible in the role. My mum has worked as a Nanny and then crèche worker at Parenting 2000 for all my life and I've been there every step of the way helping out where ever I could including doing 150 hours of volunteering for Parenting 2000 Children's centre. During my time at Parenting, I worked with children from ages Birth-12years and I also have a brother and sister that I have helped take care of who are now 7 and 9 years old.
For work experience, I spent a week working with Breast Start as a Breast feeding support worker where I worked with babies as young as 4 days old.
Although I don't have any recognised qualifications, I do have a GCSE in Child development in which I looked after a baby simulator for a weekend day and night, finishing with a pass rate of 99% and I also completed a child study of a little girl aged 2 over the period of 2months which involved regular play dates where I would bring planned activities and engage with her whilst studying improvements in her development throughout the two months. For this, I received an A*.
I am currently at college but I will be available for babysitting duties from 6-11pm weekdays and anytime during weekends and school holidays.
Overall, I am really passionate about a high standard of care for children of all ages and I hope you will take me into consideration as you will be leaving your child in safe hands.
