Xin, babysitting - SP10 Andover

My name is Xin Xu, I'm 17 years old and I'm currently studying at Peter Symonds College.
The courses that I'm doing at the moment are:
AS Chinese
AS Graphic communication
BTEC National IT Diploma (x2 courses)
EPQ (for next year)

I am looking for a Child Care Worker part time job, it can be 10- 15 hours in weekends and holidays (we can discuss this in more details).

My qualities as a child carer is to be able understanding what is the children's need, be patience with them while they are talking to you, being able to resolve disputes, being able to pass on wisdom in a fun way. I personally think it is the best job ever to be able to have fun with children and have a laugh with them, also I'm a very good listener.

I've been working for many charity organisations e.g. Oxfam, UNICEF, Samaritans, and Dandelion (the psychology centre) for more than two years. I've decided to do that because I've been to the poorest place, and I remembered how they lived and how desperate they were for craving food and clean water. So I've decided to put more effort on my own studies and use my spare time to join in as much more charities as I can. I'm glad that I can help a lot of children with my own strength and used ideas in a profession way.

As I have mentioned in the previous answer box, my mum is a nurse and she has provides me a lot of medical knowledge about how to take care of myself and how to live in a healthy life. This means I will take a very good care of your children and provides him/her a healthy and fun environment.

I used to taking care of my friends' little brother, sister and also my parents' friends' children age between 1 - 15. In return, my friends will teach me at the area that I didn't understand in my English lessons. I've had a lot of fun times with them. Personally I will first ask their parents about what's their children habits, what are they allergic to, and what do I need to keep an eye for.

I don't have any siblings, so every time when I took care of a young children, I'd think them as my own little brother or sister. I think children needs care and love from people around them, we needs to provide them a lovely, fun, enjoyable environment.

I would first make greeting to them and starts to become friends with them, let them know that I'm easy to talk to, so they wouldn't mind to share little secrets with me (they'll feel more comfortable to talk to me or play with me). I will ask what they normally do at home, school, or with friends (it depends on which age group he/she is in). Then I will ask what they would like to do and so on. I need to respect them because they have their own rights to do whatever they wanted to do, I can not force them or leads them to do things that they don't feel comfortable with.

I am very good with computer because I'm studying IT, I can play computer games with your children but we do need limit of time on that, otherwise he/she will have a bad eye sight. Also I can teach them how to develop their ideas on computer games and art design (I'm studying Graphics design as well). If you would like them to learn another language such as Chinese, it would be a privilege for me to teach them. Also I can play instruments such as flute, Chinese bamboo flute, Chinese xun, a bit of guitar and ukulele. I enjoy to do zumba or maybe I can dance with them?
