Hi, I'm Shannon and I live in the WA10 area of St.Helens. I am looking for babysitting jobs & part time care jobs. I would say that looking after children is the main thing I'm good at and I enjoy it so much. Although I haven't got qualifications, I have previous experience of looking after children, as I looked after my younger cousins, my brother and I've had a job as looking after children overnight. I also did an apprenticeship in a nursery and a childcare course, although I had to drop out due to a emergency family matter.
I would say that I'm a very friendly, bubbly person and I enjoy being a babysitter/childminder. I'm very fair but I can also be tough and authoritative when needed. I enjoy playing games with children and in my last childminding job, I took the children to the park, played game consoles with them and did arts and crafts with them.
I enjoy looking after children, it gives me a sense of accomplishment and it challenges me.
