Deborah, babysitting in Stockton-on-tees

I am a 42 year old mother of four children so obviously have lots of hand on experience with children. I often look after other people's children too! I ran my own play group for many years when I lived in Lincolnshire.
I have an up to date Paediatric First Aid Certificate which I think is vital when dealing with children.
I am a bubbly and enthusiastic person who thoroughly enjoys spending time and interacting with children of all ages. I worked for many years within Child Protection during my 20 years as a Police Officer so am very aware of safeguarging issues and keeping childen safe.
My husband works from home so is always at hand to care for our own children which frees me up to take some part time work.
I am am incredibly flexible with the hours that I work and aware that family time does not always go to plan. This means I am happy to take on last minute work or adjust to any changes.
I am happy to care for children of any age and have my own transport. I have never smoked and love animals too so I am also able to take part in any pet care.
I am able to get references from a current Police Inspector plus other local friends who have known me for many years (including prison officers and tax office employees.)
I do not currently have Nanny Insurance but have made enquiries and would put that into place as soon as I have secured a job.
