Eloise, child care in Cwmbran NP44

Hello I’m Eloise, I’m 17 years old and am currently in college studying a health and care level 3 course. My dream aspiration is to work in the NICU as a neonatal nurse. I have always wanted a career where I would be looking after and giving young babies/ children the best chance at life as that reflects my caring personality.

I have two younger siblings (age 3 and 4) and have done a lot of babysitting myself so know how to provide proper care. I have had to babysit on various occasions since they were both born and have developed a lot of my expierence and knowledge through them. I feel that I have a great amount of knowledge even though I am only 17 as I have had a lot of responsibility of caring for young children from a young age.

I think that I have many qualities that would make a great babysitter, and keep your child/children entertained and in safe hands at all times. I am a caring/kind individual who always puts others needs before my own, I like to ensure that everyone around me is happy and if anyone is feeling down I’m always there to cheer them up. I am well organised and can manage my time well which I think is an important skill to have whilst dealing with children as not only will this make the job easier it will also demonstrate good behaviour to the children. I have done previous voluntary work where I have helped out in gymnasiums handling groups of children at a time so I know I can work under pressure and even with the most challenging of children.

I hope that this will allow me to show off my skills and gain more expierence whilst doing a job that I know I would love and put 100% effort into.
