First I would like to start by introducing myself. My name is Lauren-May and I am 17 years of age. From about the age of 12 I have wanted to be a social worker, working along side children and families. In year 10 when I was 14 years of age I did a weeks work experience in a nursery for children who come from under privileged backgrounds and children with special needs, as much as it broke my heart seeing some of these children's living situations I loved every second of my time there as it was such a big learning curve for me and it was able to help me become the person I am today. Now I am currently at Kidderminster college and have completed my first year of Level 3 Health and Social Care BTEC diploma leaving with two distinctions. I am hoping to get my third distinction next year. I would love to be able to be a part of your family and take care of your children and help out as much as I possibly could. I have two younger brothers age 9 and age 14 so I know children can be a handful as i have taken care of them whilst my parents were out. I am very good with children and like to play games and interact with them as much as possible. At the moment I do not have my driving licence however I am doing a weeks intensive crash course to speed up the process of getting my driving licence, but for the mean time my mom would be available to bring me to and from your house.
Occasional babysitting | $6.00 per hour |
I wouldn't like to charge more than £6 an hour as I am only 17 years of age and wouldn't expect any more.
