Amanda, child care in Arnold NG5

Hi my name's Amanda and I'm a mum of three children aged 10, 13 and 17. I have lots of childcare experience both personally and professionally. Before I had my family I gained an NNEB qualification in Nursery Nursing from Basford Hall College. Over the years I have also been a childcarer to three different families, all of whom can give excellent references about me. One of my previous jobs was as a midday supervisor at my children's school. This role gave me a wealth of experience caring for children aged from 5 to 11 years doing everything from supervising older children play outdoor games to first-aid duties.
I also used to volunteer at my children's school twice a week ( I had a full DRB certificate) hearing readers, helping with crafts etc. I am now working as a Library Assistant which brings me into contact with many children - it is so wonderful to encourage their love of reading.
I'm looking for babysitting roles which will fit in around my family commitments.
I am a caring, intelligent person who can offer a light-hearted , common-sense approach along with clear boundaries. I always treat any child with kindness, respect and patience and an understanding that they are unique and special.
