Anita, child care in Basildon SS14

Hi there! My name is Anita and I am an A level student currently studying Psychology, RE and French and I am looking to babysit children. I have a Cambridge national qualification Level 2 in Child development which was a 50% theoretical and 50% practical which further increased my knowledge about young children and how to look after them. Additionally, I have previous experience in babysitting family friend's children some of them being as young as 2 years old. I have even been entrusted by some of my family friends parents to take their young children to the park on a warm sunny day. In one of my PE school activities, Year 4 primary school children were invited to my school to come and play some of the activities me and my group had prepared for them. This helped me improve on my experience with young children as I had to constantly be thinking fast on my feet on new games to play if we still had spare time (which we did most of the time as kids learn things pretty quickly) and make the games as enjoyable as possible as they had short attention spans and got bored pretty quickly otherwise. I successfully managed to do this each time with all the groups. I have helped young children with their homework in the past and I always try to make sure that at the end of the day I left the children i babysat with a hug smile on their faces. In my spare time I enjoy being with my friends and family, reading books, painting and listening to podcasts.
