I'm a teenage English girl, living near Scunthorpe. I'd like to provide occasional childcare for a few hours, no more than a couple of evenings a week in an evening, perhaps if parent/carer are going out. I have experience of running sessions with children aged 4+ in a kids club sort of setting. I'm a Young Leader for my local Girls Brigade.
I enjoy interacting, teaching, caring for and setting up activities for children. I'd probably entertain the children with quiet activities until bedtime and then put them to bed and be around the house until parent/carer return home. I'd be happy to bring games and activities with me to provide appropriate entertainment.
I would prefer to get to know the children and family before starting any jobs.
I have some experience as a young leader with small groups and helping with family, but no qualifications. I'm looking forward to learning and want to provide the best experience, but I don't expect high wages.
