Danielle, child care in Kingswinford

My name is Danielle , I am 17 years old currently studying Health and Social Care Level 3 Extended Diploma at Halesowen College. I am looking to babysit children from 1 year and upwards.

I would consider myself to be a pleasant, enthusiastic, young woman who loves interacting with children, so babysitting would be the ideal job for me. Every wednesday, I work in a nursery with children aged 3-5 years old as part of my college course and I love it! Early years (3-7 years old) teaching is the career I intend to persue in the future so any experience with children aged 7 years and bellow will be welcome and certainly useful.

Due to working with children, I have developed the skills to communicate with them in a way that's suitable for their age. In the nursery, I have learnt how to deal with situations in an appropriate manner when the children don't follow rules set for them. I am willing to cook for or feed children that need it and I don't mind doing some light housework.

Working in a nursery has provided me with the skills to interact well with children and help them take part in many activities. In the past, I have organised and helped the children with a range of craft activities, read books to them and carried out educational games based around numbers and letters. I can also help with homework if needed.
