Morven, child care in Muir of ord IV6

From a young age I have always enjoyed being around children. This has encouraged me to want to pursue a career that would involve me working with young children on a daily basis. I love seeing the excitement in a child's face when they reach goals that they have set for themselves. I am a very friendly person which I would say builds a greater
atmosphere for children. I am also very patient. Patience is a great quality when it comes to children as the simplest tasks to us, such as counting or learning the alphabet is a very complex task to younger children.

Doing work experience in a nursery allowed me to have an insight into what it would be like to work with children on a day to day basis. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the pleasure that the children got from achieving the smallest of tasks e.g. building a tower from blocks, completing a jigsaw and managing to colour within the lines.
