Shona, child care in Petersfield GU31

Hi my name is Shona and I'm 17 years old, I am currently a student looking to expand on my experiences with young children. I am hoping to go to university to become a social worker, I have a large friendly family and I look after my siblings and cousins a lot of the time due to many of my family members working. In the future I want to be a children's social worker as I feel very passionately about protecting and ensuring that children are well supported and are encouraged to become the best they can be regardless of their background. I have just finished a BTEC level 3 Extended Diploma in health and social care, where I overcome many obstacles and gained a lot of knowledge, I also gained a lot of experience from my work placements I did while On the course. I did work placements at a nursery, where I helped to plan activities and ensure that the children were happy and kept them entertained and I also helped out at a school for disabled children, where I learnt huge amounts about the challenges disabled children face and I also kept them entertained with many activities.
