My name is Hannah and I currently work full time for a charity which I've worked at for the past six years.
I'm really keen to spend a few evenings/weekends babysitting - prompted by a recent engagement!
I started babysitting when I was 16 (now 28) and I only stopped a couple of years ago. Most of the families I babysat for, I did so for several years (some up to five years!). And I absolutely loved doing it.
I've babysat children from a range of ages, from a couple of months old to sixteen years old. For the younger ones we spent time before bed playing games, getting stuck in with arts and crafts, and story telling before lights out.
With older children we spent time working through homework, chatting about school and cooking together. I love cooking so very happy to prepare dinner.
I previously worked as a Special Constable (volunteer police officer) and was health and safety trained through the Metropolitan Police.
Happy to cook, tidy and play games!
Occasional babysitting | $9.50 per hour |
I've looked to the London Living Wage for guidance. I haven't babysat in a couple of years but when I did (ages 16 to 24, and I'm now 28) I was paid between £8 and £10 so this seems an appropriate number.
