Beth, child care - NG4 Carlton

Ive always wanted to work with children, but getting an apprenticeship is harder than it looks. I was against college as i learn a lot better by doing, not by sitting in a classroom. Ive looked after children of all ages from 2 weeks to 12 years old. Im fun, up for playing little childrens games (i quite enjoy them). I listen carefully to the parents routine as i wouldnt want the child to be confused. Im not the most confident person ever, but as itll be working with a family i can get to know them and they can get to know me - where as in a nursery theres too many children to know each ones parents well.
