Hammel, child care - SO23 Winchester

Hello! I’m 16 years old. I’m looking for work while I take a year out of school before college. I have experience of volunteering with children in my local primary school, particularly helping them develop their reading and phonics. I also have experience of taking care of younger family members. I will bring positivity and enthusiasm, and can care for the loud, extroverted, curious child as well as the more quiet reserved child, approaching every situation with gentleness and kindness. I’m a very arty and musical person and encourage creativity through drawing, imaginative play and singing! I also love to spend time in nature and would encourage outside play, recognising how important it is to have a break from iPads and TV. I have put down that I am unable to cook for your child, however I can prepare snacks, sandwiches and any pre-prepared meals. During this year due to governmental requirements for a 16 year old to be out of school I will also have to juggle other commitments such as volunteering and online courses, but I would love to discuss this schedule with you! Hopefully we will be able to create something that works for us both, I’m not afraid of hard work! I realise due to my age that I may not have the correct range/the right qualifications that you are looking for and I completely understand.
