I am a 30-year-old qualified language teacher who has been working with children for over eight years now.
I am not British, but I am allowed to live and work in the UK because I hold an EU passport. My family are Italian and I have lived in South America all my life, so I speak Spanish very fluently (it is my mother tongue) and some Italian.
I am used to spending time with children and dealing with them, I consider I can create a good rapport with children and communicate with them in an effective way. Not only because of my experience, but also because of the two years of psychology during my studies to become a teacher.
When it comes to skills that I consider of use in the job, I would highlight the fact that I love cooking and my first aid course. (I have a driving license, but so it is not valid in the UK).
As a teacher, I know many games and activities to do with children, depending on their age. I love arts and crafts so if the child is willing to do that kind of activities I could do it as well. I also think I could be good at helping them study and do homework.
