Briony, child care in Worthing BN11

I am Briony, a first year A-Level student at Worthing college, currently studying Health and Social care Sub Diploma Level 3 BTEC, AS Level psychology and Law. Through my BTEC I have done a level 1 first aid course and have relieved the certificate for and have got a DBS check for the work experience I do. My health and social care course has educated me a lot about the care needed of a child and also on topics such as hazards, risks etc. For my work experience on this course I went to Goring First School and worked with a class of year 1's for 10 weeks. Now I am currently at Worthing Scope day care centre, I enjoyed both greatly! I do babysitting once or twice on a weekly basis for a woman I was recommended to through family (I had not met before but our/her trust has been gained). Also I have a younger brother which has helped me gain experience. Through my Child Development GCSE I had to conduct a child study which meant studying one child under the age of 5 for 9 months. When doing this I gained a lot of knowledge and experience on working with young children and what their developmental needs require. Care and working with children is something which I am very passionate for!
