Andrea, childcare in Aberdeen AB24

I am a graduated English student at the University of Granada (Spain). I had the opportunity to study one year in Aberdeen in an exchange programme and I felt in love with both the city and the culture. Also, I am currently completing a module in Childcare in North East Scotland College (Aberdeen) as I would like to gain a better understanding of childen (needs and development).
I am looking for a part-time job as a childcarer because I love children and I love to pass on my interests and hobbies and learn from them. I consider myself an honest and hardworking person always striving and thriving to meet and exceed new targets. Capable of interacting and effectively communicating with people. Proactive and dynamic person, eager to learn; with a strong work ethic and a contagious positive attitude who can perform both in individual and teamwork contexts.
Regarding my professional experience, I had the possibility to work in a summer camp for two years during summer with children of different ages (from 3 to 12 years). During my stance there, I had the opportunity to organize both small and large group outdoor activities (sports and leisure activities amongst others). Also, I did extra hours for those parents who needed to work all day and made games promoting creativity such as painting, board games and object design or other actiities including music and physical development.
To conclude, I felt quite rushy during the first weeks, kind of overwhelmed at times but it helped me to learn and improve my skills every single day. Moreover, this experience took me out of my comfort zone and helped me develop personally and professionally and decide about my future.
