Anne, childcare in Belthorn

My name is Anne, I'm 33 years old and I started childcare when I was 14 years old by looking after my nieces, from then I got the love and passion to look after children. I went on to college and studied a CACHE Level 1 in caring for children, whilst doing this course I was a nanny for a close family who I worked with for 2 years looking after 3 children between the ages of 6 months old up to the age of 8 years old. Unfortunately I left the childcare business and went into the travel industry via college for 3 years and qualified as a travel agent in 2005. For the next 6 years I was a home carer for my mum until she passed away in 2011, in 2011 I returned to childcare for just under 2 years where I was a live in nanny for a family in Blackburn. Whilst I was a live in nanny I looked after 4 children ranging from 4 years old to 8 years old, helping to drop off at school and pick up from school. I also looked after them during holidays, trips to the park, introducing them to the library to encourage book reading. In 2013 I had my little boy and started my own journey of raising my son, I'm now looking at going back to childcare to fit around my son who starts school in September. I also have a Level 2 in Emergency first aid that I renew every 3 years.
