Kerren, childcare in Blaenavon NP4

Hi, my name is Kerren Wethersby and i am 16 years old and my date of birth is the 18.12.99. I also speak a little bit of Welsh but not fluent. I finished school about a month ago and i am now starting college to do Level 2 Health and Social Care. I had already done my Level 2 Health and Social Care as a BTEC in my school and i had already passed it but i would like to extend the course and get more out of it and then hopefully be able to move onto Level 3 Health and Social Care.

I already have some experience in childcare as i babysit my younger siblings everyday from 10am until 4:30pm through half terms however when they are in school i babysit them from 3:30pm until 7:30pm everyday. The ages of my younger siblings is 6 years old and 9 years old, I have also babysat younger family members from the age of two. I help my brothers and sisters with their homework as much as i can.

I also did childcare in Busy Bee's Day Nursery for my school work experience and worked there for over a week. i enjoyed it very much as i had the opportunity to meet new people and had a chance to work with all different ages and did different jobs each day. Some of the jobs i did was cleaning up the mess the children had made, served them food, interracted with them as much as i could such as reading to them, plying with them and painting/colouring with them.
