I am an Arts University Bournemouth student, studying for a foundation diploma in art and design. I achieved highly in a range of A Level subjects which each required a variety of skills, knowledge and abilities. Fine Art and Graphics were coursework based and so required a high level of sustained focus, personal motivation, organisation and time management. Religion and Philosophy allowed me to develop interpersonal skills and an understanding of a broad cultural sphere. Through Chemistry I learned problem solving, logic and mathematical skills. Completing my bronze and silver duke of Edinburgh awards as part of an explorer scout unit involved learning practical and physical skills including self-motivation, working as part of a team and first aid. I also recently created an on-line magazine with a group of friends which reinforced my organisational, motivational and team working abilities. I am from a very large family and so I have a great deal of experience caring for, handling and communicating with children of all ages. I often care for my younger cousins, I enjoy taking them to the park, putting on plays and musicals, playing my guitar and sharing with them my interest in art. Each of these skillsets, along with the ability to meet deadlines, communicate with people and work as part of a team, will benefit me in a working environment and make me a strong, reliable and trustworthy candidate for employment.
