Rachel Kiat Yin, childcare - BS1 Bristol

Hi,

I graduated with Bachelor of Education (honours) Majoring in Early Childhood Education and Minoring in Guidance and Counselling at Segi University, Malaysia. At the same time, I also own a dual award degree in Early Childhood Education by SEGi University and University of St Mark & St John (Marjon), UK.

I had my internship at Peter and Jane Kindergarten for a month. After graduated, I have been working at Children's Discovery House (headquarter, Mont Kiara branch, Kuala Lumpur) since October 2014. As Children's Discovery House is an Montessori-based kintergarden with many international students, I could work very well with any child from different countries (Japan, Korea, Australia, and Europe, as well as the local) from 1.5 years to 6.5 years old.

I'm also experienced in creating handmade children's storybook, puppets and rag dolls. I've completed in Grade 3 piano with The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). I'm also a certified PADI open water diver.
