Meghan, childcare - BS1 Bristol

Hi, my name is Meghan.

I'm a 19 year old student, having just joined UWE in Bristol this September. I am currently looking for part time nanny work, that could fit around my university degree.

I am a fun and creative individual who is also responsible and punctual, but above all - I just love children and have really enjoyed previous experience working with them.

Last year, I worked as a part time carer for a young five year old girl, who sadly had a quite severe disability. She was an absolute joy to be around, however, the job was quite emotionally and physically demanding.
I learnt a lot whilst caring for her - from changing nappies to helping with her gastrostomy, and learning her daily physiotherapy routines. I also helped around the house doing daily chores, such as washing clothes, making meals and cleaning bathrooms.
I built up a strong bond with her as well as her family. Sadly, I had to leave after about 7 months due to transport issues. Although, I am still very much in touch with the family and have cared/baby sat for her since leaving the job.

I have had previous babysitting experience with older children.

I was also lucky enough to have two new twin sisters last year so I have been helping with them a lot this year - as they are quite a handful (but oh so lovely!)
