Ali, childcare in Burgess hill

I am Ali and I am currently studying Childcare at Sixth Form. I am looking for a babysitting/housekeeping job in the Burgess Hill area. I am DBS checked with a certificate of Child First Aid. I am very calm and reliable and can take initiative when needed and can keep the children entertained easily. I am currently doing a placement at a nursery in Burgess Hill focusing on the ages of 6 months up to four years old and enjoy spending time with the children immensely.

I have picked up a lot of skills whilst doing placement, like game planning, feeding, changing etc. and found that I am very calm around any age group - I have experience in babysitting cousins and siblings as well (aged 10 months to fourteen years old). I enjoy singing and playing games with the children and seem to be able to calm down tantruming/crying children effectively.

I can follow the rules of parents easily as well and can fit these into routines (e.g., if you want a child still attached to a dummy to stop, I can help keep them distracted from the dummy until they really need it, or help get difficult/fussy eaters to eat vegetables etc.).

I am also a very clean person and can do light chores around the house; i.e., doing the dishes, laundry and ironing, tidying area, vacuuming, dusting and tidying up children's rooms as well. I can help bathe the children and change nappies (only if requested by a parent, of course) and am do not mind dealing with messy kids and getting messy myself if needs are.
