I am an enthusiastic bubbly yet caring individual and I'm always happy to help out in all aspects where I can regarding assisting the family with childcare and around the home. My glass is always half full regarding my work. My personality equally matched this. I'm firm however understanding regarding looking after children.
I throughly enjoy cooking healthy meals and snacks, I'm also quite quick on thinking on my feet in order to get fun activities arranged for the children to do. I also enjoy helping out with home work my speciality is Science and English literature.
My most valid experience is working for 5 years as a therapy assistant/nanny/carer for children with severe learning difficulties and profound multiple learning difficulties.
I also do bank work in a play club which is on a monthly basis so I am good with keeping the children occupied with things to do and make after school or at weekends. This includes children with PMLD. My main experience is assisting children with cerebral palsy, rehab children after accidents and providing them with high levels of care and therapy programmes to support their daily needs. I am up to date with training and have an up to date DBS as I'm currently studying podiatric medicine so am given manual handling and first aid and resuscitation and airway management training annually.
I used to nanny in Surbiton for a family of 3 young children every other weekend and regularly babysit over the weekend. Tasks including being in sole charge and looking after a toddler whilst the rest of the family undertook work and their own activities over weekends.

Explanation:

I am fully qualified in working with children with pmld and SLD also mainstream children over 1 years old. My experience comes from 5 years at the children's trust tadworth working with children age 3 to 25 ranging from able to fully dependent on care.
I currently do bank work nannying for a family in Cheam. They have 4 children. 11, 7 with cerebral palsy, 3 and 2. I can balance interacting with this vast age group well and also help out around the house with any chores that need to be done including washing the children's clothes, cleaning, cooking going out to pick things up like prescriptions for the children.
