General experience:
In general, I can carry out all domestic duties including cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing and shopping. I enjoy social activities whether this been a walk in the park or a day trip to the zoo. I also enjoy in house activities such as baking, playing family games, consoles, imaginary games, role play, adventure play. I have a lot of experience in meeting the needs of children including physical and emotional needs

Personal experience:
For 7 years, I was a step-mom to 4 children from the ages of 2, 4, 6 and 8. During this time, I was more than happy to carry out the duties and responsibilities of any Parent including education, social, financial, physical and emotional support
Over the last 10 years, I have taken care of 5 nieces and 1 nephew from birth to the current ages between 1 years old and 10 years old. At times, it maybe a case of looking after the children whilst their parents were at work or on social event, over night stays and general quality time

Professional experience:
I have worked in a variety of settings when working with children from 6 months to 18 years old
As a classroom assistant, I assisted qualified teachers in delivering educational lessons and activities according to the curricular as well as positive activities
As a youth worker, I worked with young people who were considered at risk including those in care. The young people I worked with faced emotional trauma and I worked with them to provide awareness and emotional support
As a care coordinator, I carried out support for children from step 1 of the initial/risk assessment, care plans and physical support. I worked with children who presented emotional and behavioural problems, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, hearing and sight impairment, children requiring the use of peg feeds, autism, ADHD, diabetes, epilepsy and other health conditions. My responsibilities included personal care, meeting nutritional needs, medication, domestic duties, educational activities and social activities

Likes/Dislikes:
I enjoy any physical or sports activities. I enjoy taking walks, going to parks, indoor play areas. I love to cook, especially home made meals and baking cakes. I enjoy reading, drama and music. Even the simple things like playing family board games, I find is entertaining

Qualities:
I am a passionate person who is very trustworthy, honest, loyal and committed. I am mature and professional but I also have a sense of humour, positive attitude and patience. I actively participate with children and activities to ensure this is an enjoyable experience

Goal:
To gain professional qualifications in regards to providing childcare and also refresh my training in first aid and health conditions that may affect children
