My name is Shannon and I am 23 years old. I love children and being around them, I love watching them learn and grow. I love going out for walks and I love animals too.
I have wanted to work with children for as long as I can remember and I have always been the 'mum' of a friends group, even when I was younger. I have always made a connection with the children that I have looked after and I love playing games with them, whether it's outside or in the house, or helping them on a computer or console game. I make sure that the children are cared for, happy and fed, and if they need any help with anything, I make sure that they know I'm there. I try to become a friend to the children that I look after, but I make sure that they know that I'm the adult that looks after them until they're parents come home.
I really enjoy my job and I'd love for it to become a full time career.
